Pastor Jerry Eze – “I’m Not a Professional Pastor”

By Church News

Pastor Jerry Eze has shared that he does not see himself as a “professional pastor,” emphasizing that his ministry is driven by faith rather than personal ambition.

Speaking in a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, Pastor Eze explained, “I’m not a professional pastor; the day I become a professional pastor, let God take me.” He added that his focus remains on serving God and guiding people in their faith. “If this ever becomes more about me than about God, then I would rather it stops,” he said.

Pastor Jerry Eze continued: “The day it ceases to be about God and be about Jerry let God close down everything.

“I didn’t plan to be here, this is not something you plan that at some point you’re going to be big and the world will hear of you.

“I know what my assignment is, I know what God has called me to do and it has consumed me.

“I don’t care what anybody thinks or feels but the encouragement is when I see those smiles and hear those testimonies.”
