Pastor Idowu Iluyomade Launches New Ministry in Lagos

By Church News

Pastor Idowu Iluyomade, formerly of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has launched a new ministry in Lagos called “The Family Fellowship.”

This move follows his suspension from RCCG in June 2024 after controversy surrounding his wife, Pastor Siju’s, 60th birthday celebration, which took place shortly after the tragic death of prominent church member Herbert Wigwe.

The inaugural service of “The Family Fellowship” was held at the Civic Centre on Victoria Island, Lagos, and was marked by joyful dancing and celebration. Pastor Iluyomade invited the public to join the fellowship, promising a fulfilling and meaningful experience.

Pastor Idowu Iluyomade‘s decision to start this new ministry comes after he resigned from RCCG, where he served as the senior pastor of the City of David Parish.

Despite the controversy, he is determined to continue his spiritual mission and provide a platform for spiritual growth and community through “The Family Fellowship.
