The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye is 74. Born in Ifewara, Osun state, Pastor Adeboye a former professor of Applied Mathematics in the University of Lagos took the reins of the RCCG in 1981 after the demise of the founder of the church Pa Akindayomi.President Buhari in his message of felicitation with Pastor Adeboye said he “epitomises the virtues of honesty, peace, patience, contentment, humility and diligence which are the trademarks of a good believer.â€ÂThe president commended Pastor Adeboye for his social and humanitarian interventions in providing health and educational services to complement the efforts of government. He also prayed to God for long life and strength to carry on the good work.In honour of his birthday, the Pastors’ Seed Fellowship (PSF) of the RCCG organised a 74-hour marathon praise service which kicked off on Monday February 29, 2016. The service is a non-stop atmosphere of praise and worship to God celebrating the goodness of God in the life of Pastor Adeboye.Discover more from Church News
