Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor Honoured with Royal Order of Iwere

The Olu of Warri, His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III, has conferred the prestigious Royal Order of Iwere (ROI) award on Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, former President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).
This honour was bestowed upon Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor during the Olu of Warri’s fourth coronation anniversary celebration at the Aghofen Palace in Warri, Delta State.
The Royal Order of Iwere is a distinguished award that recognizes individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the nation, exemplifying values such as integrity, hard work, and redemption. As a recipient of this award, Oritsejafor joins an elite group of distinguished individuals who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in their respective fields.

- Dr. Ebi Omatsola, Director of Con Oil Plc
- Mr. Oti Ikomi, Chairman of the Itsekiri Renaissance Group
- Dr. Helen Boyo-Ekwueme, wife of Nigeria’s former Vice President, Late Alex Ekueme
- Mrs. Tara Fela-Durotoye, CEO of House of Tara International
- Hon. Dr. Godwin T. Ebosa
- Mrs. Eva Omaghomi
In his acceptance speech, Pastor Oritsejafor expressed gratitude to the Olu of Warri, describing the honour as a generous award. He cited Psalm 133, stating the importance of unity among the Itsekiri people and praying for continued blessings on the kingdom.
