Pastor Adeboye Visits Jos, Holds First Mega Crusade In Bauchi

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye has urged Christian to be united irrespective of their denominations. He gave this admonition when he paid a visit to the Chapel of Mercy, Dadin-Kowa, Jos on Sunday.The revered cleric noted that he was in Jos to commiserate with the family of the Late Rev. Isaac Oyebamiji, the Founder and Senior Pastor of Chapel of Mercy, as well as members of the church.“It took me this long to come for this visit because we had a close relationship with your late pastor for over 40 years.“The servant of God has finished his assignment on earth and has gone to be with his maker; ours is to live right so that we will meet him on the resurrection day.“But I want to use this opportunity to call on Christians in Nigeria to be united in order to defeat the enemies of the nation,” he said.Also, the General overseer will hold his first mega crusade in Bauchi State tagged: ‘Light Up Bauchi’.The crusade, which is being organised by the RCCG and the Christian Association of Nigeria will be held from Tuesday, September 27 to Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi.The Special Assistant to the RCCG General Overseer on Personnel, Pastor Julius Olalekan, while speaking with our correspondent in an interview at the venue of the planned crusade late Sunday evening, said preparations for the programme had reached an advanced stage.Olalekan, who is also the Pastor in charge of Region 17 of Bauchi, Adamawa, Borno, Gombe, Yobe and Taraba States of the Northeast, described the crusade as a phenomenon because it is happening uniquely.He said, “This (crusade) is a phenomenon, it is happening in a very unique way and it is not just a denominational gathering, it is the gathering of the Christians and not just for Christians, it is a gathering for everybody because if you encounter God, your life will change.ALSO READ Oyedepo, Adeboye, Others Make List Of 100 Nigeria’s Foremost Thought Leaders
