The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye on Friday said Nigeria may not live to see 2019 elections if religious war breaks out in the country.Adeboye made the declaration at the ongoing Holy Ghost service for the month of May, 2018 tagged:Ã¢â‚¬â„¢ Greater Than Your EnemiesÃ¢â‚¬â„¢.He stressed that Nigeria may cease to exist as a country if the deadly act continues while reacting to killings of Christians in some parts of the country.According to him, 2019 elections may not hold if religious war breaks out due to incessant killings as Nigerian will stay indoors in the protection of their lives.Adeboye said Ã¢â‚¬Å“There is no father that will lose 19 children in a day and not be quite it doesnÃ¢â‚¬â„¢t matter the domination. All Christians in Nigeria call me daddy, so when any one of them dies itÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s my son that is dead.Ã¢â‚¬Å“We need to pray because unless these killings stop immediately even Nigeria may not live.we are not talking about individually we are talking about Nigerians itself.Ã¢â‚¬Å“A bishop asked me sometimes ago what God has revealed to me about 2019 election.Ã¢â‚¬Å“I told him I am not sure there would be an election because unless these killings stop, there may be no election next year, IÃ¢â‚¬â„¢m not prophesying but this is so because no one will go out to vote if not sure they will return home safely.Ã¢â‚¬Å“I have seen war at a close range, there is nothing good about it. A nation may survive a civil war but no nation can survive a religious war and remain the same.Ã¢â‚¬Å“That Nigeria may live and not experience religious war these killings must stop.Ã¢â‚¬Â
