By Church News
Pastor Adeboye has donated a fully equipped dialysis centre to the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex (OAUTHC) in Ile-Ife, Osun State.
The dialysis centre, which features modern renal care equipment and trained personnel, is designed to alleviate the financial and logistical burdens faced by patients living with kidney-related illnesses.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Pastor Adeboye emphasized the role of faith-based organizations in supporting critical aspects of society. He noted that the donation was part of RCCG’s Christian Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, which focus on providing practical help to those in need.
“We are not only called to preach the gospel,” Pastor Adeboye stated, “but to live it in a way that uplifts the broken and heals the hurting. I pray this facility becomes a place of restoration for many.”
OAUTHC Chief Medical Director, Professor John Okeniyi, expressed his appreciation for the donation, calling it “a milestone in public-private partnership for healthcare advancement.” He added that the new centre would reduce waiting times for dialysis treatment and improve outcomes for patients suffering from chronic kidney diseases.
