NSPPD Celebrates Third Anniversary
By Church News
The prayer platform of the Stream of Joy International, The New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD) on March 30th celebrated its third anniversary.
NSPPD is an online prayer platform that started during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020, as a result of the ban on church activities and other public gatherings to curb the spread of the virus.
As a result of the lockdown, people were confined to their homes and needed to have the same spiritual experience they had when they worshipped in physical church services.
Pastor Jerry Eze, who is the pastor of Streams of Joy International, saw this need and started the NSPPD online prayer sessions on YouTube and other platforms from 8:00AM to 9:00AM every Monday to Friday.
The digital evangelist receives prayer requests after prayer sessions daily, prints, stacks them on pulpit and prays over them.
Christians from all over the world hooked up to the programme, and different kinds of testimonies started rolling in, in their numbers.
In a video Pastor Jerry posted to celebrate the third anniversary, he highlighted what is to come.
“We have entered into a season like sweeping like a flood, and just as that house that was not built on the rock, as many of the structures that were not authored by God are going to be going down,” he said.
Each time NSPPD holds its prayer session, over 90,000 people watch live. It has viewers from Nigeria and other parts of the world.
