Nicki Minaj Supports Trump’s Warning on Christian Persecution in Nigeria

By Church News

Nicki Minaj has publicly supported U.S. President Donald Trump’s assertion that Christians in Nigeria are facing persecution, calling for urgent international action to protect religious freedom.

Speaking at the United Nations headquarters in New York on Tuesday, Minaj joined faith leaders and U.S. officials in highlighting what she described as rising levels of violence against Christians in Africa’s most populous nation. “Churches have been burned, families have been torn apart, simply because of how they pray,” she said, adding that defending religious liberty was “not about taking sides but about standing up in the face of injustice.”

Minaj thanked Trump for prioritizing the issue, noting that her platform as an artist comes with responsibility.
