Nathaniel Bassey has announced a special edition of his widely celebrated Hallelujah Challenge, this time taking place inside the walls of Kirikiri Maximum Security Prison in Lagos, Nigeria.

The announcement, made via Bassey’s official social media platforms is scheduled to hold on August 27, 2025.  The initiative, tagged “Hallelujah Challenge: Behind the Walls”, aims to bring worship, healing, and spiritual revival to inmates at one of Nigeria’s most notorious correctional facilities.

“The Lord laid it strongly on my heart,” Nathaniel Bassey wrote. “We’re taking praise into places many have forgotten. God is not limited by walls, and His light shines brightest in the darkest places.”
