By Church News
British folk rock band Mumford & Sons is set to release their highly anticipated fifth studio album, “Rushmere,” on March 28, 2025. This marks the band’s first album in over six years, following their 2018 release, “Delta.”
The album, produced by six-time Grammy winner Dave Cobb, was recorded at RCA Studio A in Nashville, Savannah, Georgia, and the band’s own studio in Devon, UK. “Rushmere” is named after a pond located on Wimbledon Common in London, where the band first formed and conceived their music.
To celebrate the album’s release, Mumford & Sons has announced a series of intimate shows across the UK, Europe, Australia, and North America. The tour will kick off on March 5 in Amsterdam and conclude on March 26 in New York City. Fans can expect to hear the album’s title track and lead single, “Rushmere,” which has already reached No. 30 on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart.
