Miss Universe Jamaica Organization Calls For Prayers

By Church News

The Miss Universe Jamaica Organization has issued an appeal, asking Jamaicans and supporters worldwide to keep Gabby in their prayers, saying that she “isn’t doing as well as we would have hoped”.

Miss Universe Jamaica, Dr. Gabrielle “Gabby” Henry, remains in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a Thai hospital after suffering a serious fall from the stage during the Miss Universe 2025 preliminary evening gown competition on November 19.

The 2025 Miss Universe Jamaica pageant winner was walking the runway in a sequined orange gown and high heels when she slipped and fell off the edge of the stage. She was immediately taken to the Paolo Rangsit Hospital in Bangkok, where she is receiving medical attention.

Her sister, Dr. Phylicia Henry-Samuels, revealed that Gabby’s condition has improved slower than expected, and doctors have ordered her to remain in the ICU for at least seven days for close monitoring and specialized care
