Evangelist Mike Bamiloye, the founder of Mount Zion Films, has shared why God allow good Christians to wait a long time before blessing them.

He used the story of a couple, who are ministers of the gospel and have prayed for other people to have children, but yet have no children of their own.

According to him, the husband would shake the hands of the little children in his church and play with them after the service to show how much he loved children, and the wife would celebrate very well with the women who are dedicating children in the church, but they have not been blessed yet with their children.

The man of God, using the story of Zachariah and Elizabeth, revealed the reason why this is so. He explained that when God causes you to wait, it is usually because he is preparing something really big for you.

He said, “After years of waiting, God blessed Zachariah and Elizabeth with a baby boy. He grew up to become John The Baptist, the forerunner of Jesus Christ the Messiah.”

He encouraged people who were in the same situation as the ministers of the gospel he referred to not to worry or despair because of their situation, but to continue to hope in God for their miracle.

Evangelist Mike Abayomi Bamiloye is a Nigerian gospel film actor, dramatist, producer, and director. He is an evangelist and the founder and president of the film production company Mount Zion Faith Ministries and Mount Zion Television.

Like her husband, his wife, Evangelist Gloria Olusola Bamiloye is a Nigerian dramatist, film actress, producer and director. She is a co-founder of Mount Zion Drama Ministry.

She was born in Ilesa, a city in Osun State, South Western Nigeria. She attended the Divisional Teachers Training College at Ipetumodu where she was trained as a school teacher. She met Mike Bamiloye in 1983 and eventually married him.
