Matthew West performed “Come Home For Christmas” from his original holiday track on The Kelly Clarkson Show recently.“I am so excited to bring this song to The Kelly Clarkson Show,” shares West. “I love Christmas music so much, and each year I find myself sitting down at the piano penning a new Christmas tune inspired by my love of this most wonderful time of the year.He continued, “Come Home for Christmas is not just a song, it’s an invitation for every heart to return to the wonder, the peace, the love, and the hope that this holiday season offers to every heart.”This holiday season, West has partnered with Great American Family to highlight the endearing carol on their channel all holiday season.Looking ahead to the new year, West will be releasing his highly anticipated upcoming double album My Story Your Glory on February 17.Matthew Joseph West is an American contemporary Christian musician, singer-songwriter, and actor.He has released five studio albums and is known for his songs “More”, “You Are Everything”, and “The Motions”. He was nominated for five Dove Awards in 2005, two of which were for his major-label debut album, Happy.West wrote most of his first songs in the sanctuary of his father’s church while he was at home during college breaks.According to a statement by West at the 2013 Winter Jam, at the Assembly Hall in Champaign-Urbana, West was crying profusely, prompting his friends to ask him what was wrong.
