Lisa Bevere: “Men Should Not Hit Women”
By Church News
Minister Lisa Bevere has expressed her shock and dismay over the decision of the Olympic committee to allow a trans woman to compete in the women’s boxing stating that “Men should not hit women.”
The incident, involving Italian boxer Angela Carini’s abrupt surrender against Algerian opponent Imane Khelif, has thrust the issue of transgender athletes into the spotlight.
Khelif, who failed a gender eligibility test in the 2023 world championship, has been at the center. Carini’s dramatic display of frustration, falling to her knees and crying has brought out the growing discontent among female athletes regarding including biologically male competitors.
Lisa Bevere, a vocal advocate for women’s rights, expressed her outrage. “Maybe you didn’t see this sort of abuse of truth making its way so quickly onto the world stage of the @olympics but here it is!” she wrote.
“And sadly an elite female Italian athlete became the victim of a pretender. Men should not hit women. Ever. She further encouraged women to stand up and reclaim their divine right, referencing her latest work “The Fight for Female” which explores the challenges women face in today’s society, offering spiritual guides to combat these challenges.
“Women It’s time we enter #TheFightforFemale make your voice know before that is taken away as well!” she wrote.
With a particular passion for women’s empowerment, Lisa is a vocal advocate for women’s rights, using her books and podcasts as vehicles to inspire and uplift.
Her podcast, “The Fight for Female,” is a cornerstone of her mission.
