Limoblaze Receives YouTube Plaque For Reaching Over 100K Subscribers

Samuel Onwubiko also known as “Limoblaze”,  a Nigerian Afro gospel, Afrobeat and Hip-hop gospel singer has received a Youtube silver plaque for having over 100k subscribers on the platform.This is coming weeks after performing his red hot afrobeat version of Jireh which he featured Lecrae of Reach Record and Happi Music in front of over 30,000 fans in the UK at the famous Big Church Fest concert.The afrobeat version of the song which was originally released by Elevation Worship and Maverick City Music has gotten a lot of appraisal by fans and music lovers at large.The songwriter, recording and performing artist took to his social media page to share the news, he said; “I’m grateful to all 100 thousand of y’all that are subscribed to my channel. Thank you @youtube”It’s pertinent to note that Limoblaze who co-founded his record label “OneSkript Music” alongside his wife earlier this year is also gearing up for his worldwide tour which will be kicking off in August and this tour will see him reaching out to several cities and countries.Limoblaze began his musical career at a very young age of 8 years as a backup singer and was part of a children’s church choir.  He kicked off his career in 2012 and has become a pioneer for Afro gospel music. He has since won several awards including the AGMMA Afro Hip Hop Artist of The Year for the years 2018, and 2019 and the Best International Act at the Premier Gospel Awards in 2019.After releasing groundbreaking projects like; Bridges (2020) and Afrobeats Rap and Jesus (2019), he just released his 5th album; God’s Favorite Baby (2021). Limoblaze has collaborated with gospel artists from around the world including Lecrae, Da’T.R.U.T.H, Travis Greene, Papa San, CalledOut Music, Dena Mwana, Gil Joe, Andy Mineo, Ada Ehi, Cass, and several others.ALSO READ The first UK National church Awards Nominations
