On July 22, 2023, Kunle Ajayi, the popular saxophonist and AfroGospel Jazz artiste, alongside Midnight Crew lead act, Pat Uwaje-King, and Gospel music producer, Dr Faith Ajiboye headlined the 2023 Annual Equip Global Music Conference which was held virtually.Dr Faith Ajiboye said that participants will benefit from its updated course contents and the wealth of experience of their current globally reputable music facilitators and musicologists – which included US-based Dare David, Pat Uwaje-King, and Associate Professor and Head of Music Department, Dr Seyi Kenny and others.She stated that the conference aims at training, educating and empowering Nigerian choristers, gospel musicians, sound engineers, music producers and the technical arm of the music ministry and industry for better and optimal output.Equip Music Conference has in the last twelve years trained over 50,000 gospel music professionals within and outside Nigeria. It has also empowered gospel musicians with the updated technical knowledge they needed to excel in their musical vocations.
