“All Things”….May 5th LET’S GO” He captioned much to the delight of his teeming colleagues and fans.

Kirk Franklin recently achieved another milestone by becoming the first artist to spend 100 weeks at the NO. 1 spot on Billboard’s Gospel Songwriters chart (dated March 11).

The legendary singer/songwriter has recorded huge success on Billboards Gospel Charts including; the record for the most Hot Gospel Songs No. 1s (eight), the second-most top five hits (15), top 10s (20) and overall entries (36) in the chart’s 18-year history.

He’s also tied for the most No. 1s on Gospel Airplay (nine, with Tamela Mann) and holds the record for the most career entries at the format (25, also over the chart 18 years existence).

Also, Kirk along with his wife Tammy Franklin will co-host the highly anticipated series “Date Night Thursdays” with the premiere of “The One,” which makes a return on TV ONE on the 18th of May 2023 after a brief hiatus.

The Multi-Grammy Award-winning artiste and Gospel Music Icon celebrated the successful release of his son Caziah Franklin 15 minute Ep – “Canon Tape Demos”.

The proud dad explained in a detailed video on Instagram the challenges, fears, and doubts that overwhelmed his son’s ability to reflect his God-given talents because of the comparison between the pair which he described as a “thief of joy”.

While revealing the latest project of his child, Kirk summoned the courage to share a long-standing private part of his family, stressing that it was not a promotional stunt but an avenue to celebrate anyone who has been paralyzed by fear.

“Some things in life you’ve got to do afraid, you can’t wait till fear lives before you do it”, echoed the legendary singer.

“You have to use fear as the fuel” continued Kirk, while also reminding many that have gifts they are sitting on, but because they are comparing it or questioning they are yet to manifest the glory of God.

“Who are you to make the decision of something you don’t own, these gifts are all on loan, they don’t belong to us” he added.
