Gospel music icon Kirk Franklin has shared his struggles with financial pressure and mental health, despite his chart-topping success.

In a recent interview, Franklin opened up about the anxiety and fear that come with managing his career, supporting his team, and meeting personal responsibilities.

“People see the stage, the awards, and the success,” Kirk Franklin said. “But they don’t always see the silent battles, the fear, the anxiety, and the moments when you question if you’re doing enough.” 

Franklin emphasized the importance of transparency and vulnerability, especially for public figures in ministry and entertainment.

He encourages others to seek help when needed, citing his own experiences with therapy and gratitude practices. “When I begin to live a life of gratitude, more gratitude then I will begin to be more selfless because fear is rooted in self,” Franklin said.
