K-Anthony won Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album of the Year at the 2024 JUNO Awards recently.In a statement, K-Anthony said, “Winning the Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album of the Year at the 2024 JUNO Awards is an incredible honour, one that I never imagined when I began this journey”While deeply grateful for this recognition, he finds even greater joy in the opportunity to inspire and make a difference through his music.K-Anthony continues, “Growing up in Falmouth, Jamaica, the rhythm of the rich Caribbean sounds deeply influenced my soul. From a young choir member to a budding musician, I found my voice by blending the vibrant sounds of my roots with an uplifting message honouring my Creator.“From the sunny vibes of Jamaica to the creative melting pot of Canada, my musical journey has been a rollercoaster ride! Countless struggles, unwavering devotion, and an enduring dream have brought me to this moment. Along the way, I’ve encountered numerous friends and supporters who kept me motivated.“The road to success is often winding, filled with long days and even longer nights. Yet, through every twist and turn, I’ve learned invaluable lessons – the power of patience, the importance of waiting on God’s timing, and the beauty of collaborating with incredible talent.“Through thick and thin, it’s been the unwavering support of friends and fans that has fueled my passion for music.
