Jurgen Klopp: “God is Real”
By Church News
Jurgen Klopp has shared insights into his spiritual life, revealing that his faith in God and Jesus has been unwavering. In a conversation on Steven Bartlett’s Diary of a CEO podcast, the former Liverpool manager applauded his mother, Elisabeth, for instilling in him the importance of prayer.
Klopp fondly recalled how his mother would pray every night before bed, setting a powerful example for him. “This lady, my mom, prayed every night before going to bed. So, for me, it’s the right thing to do,” he said.
When questioned about his religious upbringing, Klopp clarified that while others might perceive him as “religious,” he simply believes in God and Jesus. “I believe. I don’t know 100 per cent what ‘religious’ means, to be honest with you,” he admitted.
