The Hurricane Beryl’s devastation across Texas has led Christian leaders, including renowned speaker Joyce Meyer and Pastor Joel Osteen to offer support to those affected by the storm.

Joyce Meyer, the president of Joyce Meyer Ministries said that the widespread impact of the storm, which struck Texas early Monday after battering parts of Mexico and the Caribbean has damaged homes and businesses.

“Beryl has caused millions of people to be without power and brought significant flooding and damage to homes and businesses,” Meyer shared on social media.

She, however, announced that her ministry’s mission arm, “Hand of Hope,” has partnered with the non-profit disaster and humanitarian relief organization, Mercy Chefs to deploy kitchens and serve hot meals to those impacted by the storm.

They are also collaborating with Global Teen Challenge to rebuild a center in Grenada damaged by the hurricane.

Expressing gratitude to donors, Meyer emphasized their role in enabling swift assistance. She urged prayers for those struggling in the aftermath.

“Thank you so much to those who donate to our ministry efforts,” the post read. “You are the reason we can quickly bring assistance to those in need. Please join us in praying for each person, family, and community affected by this disaster.”
