Joyce Meyer has emphasized in her message that the number one goal of Christians should be “to choose God’s will.”

As followers of Jesus, Joyce Meyer remarked that despite having free will, Christians should prioritize God’s will in pursuing their goals.

Joyce Meyer emphasized opening spiritual senses to discern God’s guidance. In this way, one would know how to align with God, especially if certain things need to change.

“You need to pray that God will open your spiritual ears and your spiritual eyes,” the Christian author said. “And I can tell you right now, me or anybody else, if you’re going to walk with God, there will be things in your life that will have to change.”

She noted that when things in one’s life don’t align with that of God, “there will be sacrifices.”

“There’s going to be things that you want to hang on to that God tells you have to go,” she explained. “There are going to be places you want to run away from that God is going to tell you, you need to stay.”
