Vocalist Jordan Smith has announced the upcoming DVD release of ‘The People’s Hymnal’, a live performance project featuring reimagined gospel classics. The DVD will be available on July 25 through Gaither Music, with pre-orders now open.

Recorded live at Bill Gaither’s studio in Alexandria, Indiana, the project includes performances of well-known hymns such as “Oh Happy Day,” “How Great Thou Art,” and “His Eye Is On The Sparrow.” The DVD also features bonus tracks not included on the original album, including “It Is Well” and “I’d Rather Have Jesus”.

“This time, the only concern was, ‘How would Jordan Smith sing this song?’” Smith shared, reflecting on the personal nature of the project.
