Many students share their testimony to the heartwarming and soul-stirring charge that he gave.He reminded the audience that it is perilous to heed those who divert their focus away from Jesus, emphasising the importance of keeping our eyes fixed on the Lord.Bro. Akanni further delved into the significance of the phrase “Verily, verily,” often used by Jesus in the Scriptures. He explained that it’s akin to an oath, signifying absolute assurance and a declaration that the speaker possesses the authority and capability to bring the spoken word to fruition. In his wisdom, he also addressed the misconception that seeking God’s help, even for a renowned individual, is a display of humility.Bro. Akanni clarified that seeking divine assistance is not about humility; it is about being rational and acknowledging our need for God’s guidance and intervention in all aspects of life. The “Come and See” crusade with Bro.
