The International Christian Concern (ICC) has rendered help to the children of a Ugandan man, Yusuf Kintu, who was ambushed and beaten by a group of Muslims for converting to Christianity.This was revealed in the latest edition of the magazine published by the Christain Group.Unfortunately, after the incident, his Muslim wife divorced him, taking two of their young children with her, leaving their two teenage children behind who had also put their faith in Christ.But Yusuf died from the wounds he suffered from the attack two days after.ICC then connected with a local pastor to bring aid to the older children in the midst of their grief.“We helped provide them with rent, food, clothing, and transportation to and from the courthouse where their father’s case is ongoing,” ICC said.“We have found love amongst the few believers on the island and our faith has been encouraged. Thank you very much for the food shopping, rent, and pocket money for use,” the eldest son expressed.Speaking also, the younger brother expressed his joy over the help that has come their way, saying he was overwhelmed by the love and care.“The Lord brought you from nowhere to just help us after the attack on our father. We are spurred to continue trusting in Christ by your concern, and we promise to remain in the Lord for the rest of our lives.
