“It’s all about the mercy of God that revived and brought my husband back to me,” says Mrs Ademola Ogunleye, an educator and a grateful wife and mother.

It happened this year 2022 at Surulere, Lagos State.   She had noticed rashes on her husband’s (Mr Ogunleye) body; especially on the neck, face and tummy area. She told him to take antibiotic tablets because she thought it was an ordinary infection until something happened one morning.

On that particular morning, the husband met an elderly man on his way out and the elderly man told him the rashes on his neck and face were not ordinary and instructed him to see him later, which he did.

The elderly man told him that it was a spell cast in the air against him in the darkness. So, he was warned by the elderly man to beware of walking late at the night. Of course, they didn’t know what to make of it.

Nothing happened till two days after.

They were all together in the sitting room and Mrs Ogunleye noticed her husband was staring quite vaguely and started saying some incomprehensible things; according to her, “As if he was in another realm.” She could not fathom what was happening, but she and her 9years old daughter who was present started praying for him.

On that same fateful day, while they were all sleeping, he suddenly woke up at 12midnight and told his wife he saw some people calling him and they wanted to kill him.  The wife started praying again. Then he jumped up from the bedroom and ran out the door.

The wife was initially dazed, but she got herself and ran out of the house to look for him, and the daughter followed too. She said, “We trekked up and down about five or six streets, till it was past 1 am and some watch guards were challenging us. They told us to go back home, that he will come back home.”

She returned home and continued praying for him for about an hour before she slept off. Her prayers were marvellously answered because her husband returned home, looking tired and covered with sand.

The husband told her some people were pursuing him to kill him. He saw a church and ran towards it, but the gate was locked on getting to the church. He then went under a bus that was parked and hid himself.

After a while, he ran to Barracks Bus Stop to take a bus to CMS in Lagos Island. He lived in Surulere, but this was what the voice was telling him to do.

As he stood there, he said an unknown tall man appeared to him and told him to go home. That was how he came home and came back to his senses too. God healed him completely of everything. Praise God. Hallelujah!
