Hand Of Hope Impacts Lives In Kenya

By Church News

David Meyer, husband of renowned Christian author and speaker Joyce Meyer, recently shared an inspiring update from their ongoing humanitarian efforts in Kenya.

David shared his experience visiting a feminine hygiene production plant in Nairobi, Kenya which was built by the Joyce Meyer Ministries in partnership with WorldServe International.

“Today, I got to visit a feminine hygiene production plant @joycemeyer built with @worldserveintl,” David captioned photos of himself alongside staff at the facility. “Over 1.4 million products were distributed last year to girls that otherwise would miss weeks of schooling.”

This initiative focuses on the critical issue of menstrual hygiene management in developing regions, where a lack of access to sanitary products often forces young girls to miss school during their periods. By providing essential hygiene products, the plant is helping to ensure that these girls can continue their education uninterrupted in Kenya.

The photos shared by David Meyer showcase the dedicated staff working at the plant and the impact this project is having on the community. The efforts of Joyce Meyer Ministries and WorldServe International are not only addressing a vital need but are also empowering young girls to stay in school, contributing to their education and future opportunities.

This visit underscores the commitment of Joyce Meyer Ministries to making a tangible difference in the lives of those in need, particularly in areas where basic necessities are often out of reach. The work being done at this production plant is a powerful example of how targeted initiatives can bring about meaningful change
