‘God Loves Marriage’ Says Actress Kathie Lee Gifford

Kathryn Lee Gifford, an American television presenter, singer, songwriter, actress and author has recently spoken passionately about the “holy alliance” of marriage.she told the media, “God loves marriage. God instituted marriage for a reason, for a purpose. Family is so important to God. … Marriages are under attack. Monogamy is under attack.”“I think marriage should be a holy alliance,” she asserted. “Now, there are reasons why certain people should get divorced, and they have physical reasons to … I don’t know their first story. I just know that I’m sorry to them and their children.”Gifford, who was married to the late Giants football player and sports commentator Frank Gifford for 30 years, shared that she had faced challenges in her own marriage just like “everybody else.”Gifford is also an outspoken Christian who released her latest book, “The God of the Way,” with co-author Rabbi Jason Sobel on August 30.she explained on Instagram, “Join us as we discover the stories of key Biblical figures and how they continue to shape us all today. Merging the ancient with the modern, we analyze the story of God’s plan for mankind with historical and cultural insights.”The actress also wrote and released the film, “The Way,” which debuted in theatres on September 1 for one day only. The film, which features a symphony orchestra and musical artists singing tailor-made roles, is narrated by Gifford and aims to bring biblical stories to life.She did several voice-overs most notably as Echidna in the 1998 TV series Hercules and Higglytown Heroes as the Mail Carrier Hero in 2004 and intends to make movies about the experiences of losing a loved one and being a widow, which she considers an underrepresented topic in Hollywood.Gifford is a celebrity ambassador for the non-profit organization Childhelp.
