The Vice president of the Living Faith Church World Wide aka Winners Chapel International Bishop David Abioye shared a post to the public via the Winners Chapel International Facebook page.According to the cleric, he reportedly stated that “God is calling for intelligent praying men and women in the church. The days we are in, demands or requires serious-minded men and women who will stand in the gap to pray and intercede on behalf of the church and this generation in these last days.“Not a religious kind of prayer but heartfelt prayers. Enough of empty crying, screaming, shaking and beating of the chairs. However, Jesus said, “Men ought always to pray and not to faint.” Pray without ceasing. “Therefore, the kind of prayers required by God is an effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man and woman. And this has nothing to do with shouting and gymnastics. An effectual fervent prayer will save the sinners, heal the sick and set the captives free.”Bishop David Olatunji Abioye is the First Executive Vice President of the Living Faith Church Worldwide. With over 30,000 worshippers, he is currently the Senior Pastor of Living Faith Church, Goshen City, km 26 Abuja-Keffi Road – Nigeria, West Africa.

While still lecturing at the Polytechnic, he wanted to start a technological firm to solidify his finances. However, when he met Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, at a Christian Student Fellowship in the 1980s, he was inspired by what he saw as his passion and love for God. He was the first Choir Master of Bishop Oyedepo and over the years, their relationship transcends from brotherly friendship to a spiritual mentorship and more.

After the departure of Bishop Dr David Oyedepo to Lagos, Bishop David Abioye was the senior pastor of Garden of Faith, Kaduna, which was the former national headquarters of the church. In 1993, he became a bishop of the church.
