Nigerian gospel artist Gaise Baba has taken the top spot on YouTube Nigeria’s most-watched music video of 2025 with his hit song “No Turning Back II”, featuring Lawrence Oyor.

The video has amassed over 41 million views, 397,000 likes, and more than 22,000 comments since its release on May 16, 2025.

The song, a modern reimagination of the classic hymn “I Have Decided to Follow Jesus”, and Gaise Baba expressed gratitude to his collaborators and the David Generation Church congregation, stating, “See what the Lord has done with our simple obedience. Of a truth, we shift the culture”.

“No Turning Back II” has outperformed popular tracks by mainstream artists like Davido, Shallipopi, and Wizkid, marking a significant milestone for gospel music in Nigeria.
