Dunamis Church Postpones Mega Worship Event

By Church News

Dunamis International Gospel Centre has indefinitely postponed the much-anticipated Mega Worship event, an interdenominational service originally scheduled for Friday, August 23, 2024, at the Dunamis International Gospel Centre.

The event, themed “Hope at Last,” was being organized to show solidarity with victims of communal clashes across Nigeria.

The Director of Media and Publicity for the Planning Committee, Pastor Atekojo Samson Usman, disclosed this in a statement shared with journalists on Friday.

He expressed regret over the inconvenience caused by the postponement.

Atekojo assured the public that a new date for the event would be announced through various media outlets and communication channels in due time.

The statement reads: “The Mega Worship event, organized by Linkway Outreach Africa in collaboration with Panam Charity and Africa Arise, was expected to feature renowned gospel artists including Dr. Panam Percy Paul.

“The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr. Paul Enenche, along with the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria and other prominent pastors from Nigeria and the United States, were also slated to participate in the event.”

The organizers emphasized that the primary aim of the event was to raise awareness and support for victims of communal clashes.

“Despite the postponement, they remain committed to this cause and will continue to work towards rescheduling the event at a later date.

“We urged the public to stay tuned for further announcements regarding the new date and other relevant details. The Planning Committee appreciates the understanding and patience of all those who were looking forward to the event.”
