Dominion Sanctuary Donates to General Hospital

By Church News

The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Dominion Sanctuary, ACME, Ikeja, Lagos, recently donated 170 units of bed linen, comprising bedsheets and pillowcases to the Orile Agege General Hospital, Lagos. The donation was a follow-up to a recent similar gesture where the Dominion Sanctuary provided 50 assorted eyeglass frames and a cash donation of N250,000 to support patients towards the hospital’s annual glaucoma week.Prof. Olugbenga Ogunmoyela, Minister-In-Charge, CSR Department, while addressing the hospital’s management staff, described the CSR department of the RCCG as an initiative of the Mission under the General Overseer, Pastor Enoch A. Adeboye. He noted the unit has the sole responsibility of showcasing the church’s sense of responsibility towards the community and the environment it operates and also to win souls.According to him, “We are very grateful to God for today, as we continue to fulfil the vision of our Senior Pastor, the Pastor-in-Charge of Region 19 and Intercontinental Missions Coordinator, Pastor Brown Oyitso, in the health sector.“The impact of our initiatives and interventions continue to be felt in various communities around us, including Agidingbi, Idi-Agbon, Otubu, and it is always humbling and a thing of joy to see the glowing appreciation and satisfaction of these communities in such ceremonies,” Ogunmoyela stated. The Church, according to him, has a sense of satisfaction to be able to partner with bodies and communities in her areas of operations, while also acknowledging partners who support the initiative, saying they believe in the Church many of whom prefer to remain anonymous.Expressing his appreciation, the Medical Director/ Chief Executive Officer of the Orile Agege General Hospital, Dr. Adesola Pitan, prayed that God would keep strengthening RCCG in its evangelical prowess and its CSR initiatives. He said, “We have been able to achieve this feat through collaboration and support of well-meaning Nigerians. When we get help like this, it means a lot for us and we really appreciate.”AlSO READ: Jimmy Odukoya Appointed Senior Pastor of TFOLC
