Discipleship Tech Unveils “The Serpent & The Seed”
By Church News
Discipleship Tech has developed The Serpent & The Seed, a mobile adventure game designed to engage players with key themes from the Bible. The game presents a visually rich and interactive storytelling experience that explores the broader biblical narrative.
Players journey through four acts, beginning with the Garden of Eden and the Fall, leading to the promise of redemption. The game introduces important biblical figures and highlights key moments that point to the fulfillment of prophecy in Jesus Christ.
Andy Geers, founder of Discipleship Tech, expressed his enthusiasm for the project, emphasizing its potential to make biblical stories more accessible. “For years, I’ve been passionate about using mobile games to help people engage with the Bible,” Geers said. “The Serpent & The Seed offers an opportunity for players to pause and reflect on deeper themes of faith and life.”
The game features artwork by Greg Clifton and music by Poor Bishop Hooper, known for their EveryPsalm project. The team has focused on creating a meaningful experience that invites players to explore biblical ideas in a new way.
