Deeper Life Unveils Rebranded Daily Devotional
By Church News
The Deeper Christian Life Ministry (DCLM) has recently rebranded its devotional Daily Manna with the development of an app and website.
The General Superintendent, Pastor William Kumuyi who spoke to the media said that the daily manna is a devotional material aimed at spreading the message of Jesus Christ to families across the world.
The global devotional, Daily Manna, was launched at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the Headquarters of Deeper Life Bible Church, Gbagada, Lagos.
In his keynote address, Prof. Rufus Taiwo Akinyele, the Vice Chancellor of Maranatha University said, “This year, Daily Manna has been strengthened and rebranded with the promise of an even more universal usage by individuals and families.”
He continued, “The authors of Daily Manna go into fasting and prayer, and whatever messages they get from the spiritual exercise are blended with the message. The Daily Manna is a spiritual compass that beautifully collates, presents, and articulates God’s infallible solutions to various human worries and contentions.”
The Vice-Chancellor further added, “It helps individuals and nations to see the one thing missing in the quest for fulfillment and social advancement, namely: the mind of God in his words! This, in the end, is the secret of a purpose-driven, happy, and fulfilled life.”
The Church Secretary, Pastor Samuel Afuwape, noted that the devotional is a product of men of prayer, saying prayer brings only what God has given to them.
The rebranded Christian material is available in the app and on the website freely, while the daily devotional messages on the platform pop up at midnight.
The contents are displayed for every user to read and there is an audio version of the text that can be downloaded and shared across all social media platforms.
According to Dr Kumuyi, the publication, which started in 2004, has today become a household feature for many Christian families for their family devotion and fellowship.
