Deeper Life Bible Church Launches Comprehensive Evangelism Campaign
By Church News
The Deeper Life Bible Church in Abuja has launched a new evangelism project named ‘Operation Save A Soul’ (SAS). This ambitious initiative aims to reach individuals across the capital and its surrounding areas with the message of Christianity.
Pastor Adeniyi Hassan, the State Overseer for the Deeper Life Bible Church in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), officially inaugurated the project during a special Sunday service held at the Regional Worship Centre in Kado, Abuja. The service marked the beginning of what is expected to be a transformative campaign, focusing on engaging with the community and spreading the gospel.
The primary goal of ‘Operation SAS’ is to support the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK), a monthly event led by the General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi. The initiative is designed to reach out to those who have not yet embraced Christianity, encouraging them to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
Pastor Hassan emphasized the importance of active evangelism and urged church members to take the gospel message to public spaces such as markets, schools, and bus stops. He highlighted the significance of winning at least one soul for the Kingdom of God, underscoring the church’s commitment to its evangelical mission. “Our goal is to ensure that every believer becomes a soul winner,” said Pastor Hassan. “Preaching the gospel to sinners is our topmost priority.”
In addition to the evangelism drive, Pastor Hassan announced a new program called ‘Youth Convocation’, which is set to take place in February 2025. This program aims to engage the church’s young members, encouraging their spiritual growth and active participation in church activities. Pastor Hassan also called on church leaders to be youth-friendly and to involve young people in key roles within the church, fostering a sense of belonging and responsibility.
The ‘Operation Save A Soul’ initiative is designed to make every believer a soul winner, with the preaching of the gospel to sinners as the topmost priority of all Christians in the Church. Church leaders are encouraged to focus on ensuring befitting places of worship and creating a welcoming environment for new converts.
The church plans to celebrate the results of this outreach on March 24, 2025, when the newly converted individuals will be presented to the congregation. This celebration will not only mark the success of the evangelism drive but also serve as an inspiration for continued efforts in spreading the Christian faith.
