Star Hub, the youth church of the Daystar Christian Centre held another edition of its yearly festival ‘Unbound’ tagged “Flip The Script” on August 27 at the main auditorium of its Church.Unbound is a platform created to give youths the opportunities to express themselves in Christ and show their creativity.When people refer to the word “creativity”, it’s often associated with things like art, dance, and music, but that is very limiting. Creativity runs through every career and sphere of life and the Unbound event was a platform created to showcase that in every possible way in Christ.Some of the singers and comedians who graced the event included Mike Abdul, Limoblaze, Akpororo, Oba, Reengy, Great man, Takit, Mayor, Thompson, Richie and SFX.Others are Forever, DJ Horphuray, Yami, Moses, Eze, Otobi, Same, OG, JMG, Susan, Peter, Tomini, Bespoke, Words, Demiandre and Performing Heart Naga.Daystar Christian Centre was established on the firm foundation of God’s word given to His servants, Sam & Nike Adeyemi on November 18, 1995, to empower individuals to discover, develop, release and maximize their potential in God through the word.By the grace of God, Daystar Christian Centre remains committed to executing this mandate through weekly worship gatherings and community outreaches; and God stays faithful to supporting the ministry by a steady increase in numbers and impact.Pastor Sam Adeyemi, the senior pastor of the church has trained thousands of people in leadership for more than two decades.He has done this through the Daystar Leadership Academy (DLA), which has graduated over 35,000 people since 2002, and through seminars, workshops and conferences.
