Crowder - Your Praise Goes On

Four-time GRAMMY-nominated artist Crowder released the official performance video for “Your Praise Goes On” recently.

This is just one of the tracks that appear on Crowder’s 14-track holiday album, ‘Milk & Cookies: A Merry Crowder Christmas’ joining re-imagined classics and creative collaborations with artists including Country Music Hall of Famer Ricky Skaggs and rapper NF’s longtime producer/collaborator, Tommee Profitt.

Showcasing Crowder’s unmatched musicianship and unique ability to seamlessly blur genre lines, the album is made complete through his infectious personality and comedic timing, which is showcased perfectly in the objective glimpse at the woes of Mrs Claus, “The Ballad of Mrs C (She’s Sick of the Beard),” along with entertaining interludes scattered throughout the project.

Crowder was nominated for Best Contemporary Christian Performance/Song at the 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards for his moving collaboration with Dante Bowe, “God Really Loves Us,” featuring Maverick City Music.

He performed his new holiday music on the road, headlining the K-LOVE Christmas Tour.

David Wallace Crowder, known professionally by his mononymous stage name Crowder since 2012, is an American contemporary Christian music singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and author.

David Crowder first stepped into the music industry when he realized that over half of the students at Baylor University, a Christian school that he attended in Waco, Texas, were not going to church.

He began to actively recruit students for worship services and started writing songs to draw more young people in. He eventually started releasing the songs, leading to his debut album, 2002’s Can You Hear Us?

The album was released under the name the David Crowder Band, as Crowder was joined by guitarists Jack Parker and Jason Solley, drummer Jeremy Bush, bassist Mike Dodson, and electric violinist Mike Hogan.

Their sophomore effort, Illuminate, appeared in the fall of 2003 and was followed a year later by The Lime CD, which comprised two earlier live releases (The Green CD and The Yellow CD) that had been given out to fans who had either pre-ordered prior albums or attended various CD release parties.
