Topic: Consider Your Lifelong Struggle and You Will Find Your Purpose! – Warrior Mom Wisdom
We all have struggles, but if you stop for a moment and consider what your main struggle has been, you will find one of the main components of what you were made for on this earth…
God taught me this concept recently by pointing out that one of my biggest fears has been of women. I was terrified of women. I even convinced myself that I didn’t like women by telling myself that I didn’t have time for them. I didn’t like them and I didn’t need them. I was hurt as a kid by women; they weren’t emotionally available to me. They weren’t physically available to me. I felt abandoned by the main women in my life; therefore, I decided that I would stay very far away from women as an adult. Well, God began to melt my heart when he gave me a daughter. I had to begin to face my fears of women because I was going to raise one!
Now that God has assigned me to The Warrior Mom and Warrior Wife ministry, essentially, I understand that He always meant for me to minister to women. It would make sense then that one of my major struggles on this earth has been based on a fear of women – one of the main groups of people I was created to serve! Isn’t that amazing?! The enemy meant for me to be defeated by my fears in order to keep me from the blessing of serving women with God’s grace and love through writing and teaching.
So, I challenge you to pause and consider what is a major fear you have? What are the themes of your struggles? Are they in regard to art? Are they in regard to finances? Are they in regard to being in front of people – speaking maybe? If you pause and consider what your major struggles are, you will find your life’s purposes.
Wow! Isn’t God’s ability to break through barriers of lies amazing?
