The Fountain Of Life Grace Springs Church, in partnership with the Fountain Community Enrichment Inc., will be holding its annual drive-through event tagged: ‘Joy of Giving,’ on December 16th 2022 at Commerce Court, Upper Marlboro, MD, US.

The Fountain Community Enrichment Inc. is a community-based charity organisation established to tackle hunger by providing families with food (grocery &fresh produce).

The drive-through event is open to Prince George’s County community members and neighbouring counties.

Free toys, clothes, shoes, bikes, diapers and more for children ages 0-14 will be provided and children do not need to be present at the event to receive free toys.

The Joy of Giving is a winter community event that provides children toys for Christmas, clothing, and small household items to families in need during the holiday season.

One of the missions of the Fountain Community Enrichment is to combat hunger by qualifying the neediest community members for free food, every month, all year round through food distribution from the Fountain Food Pantry. The goal is to support families in need thus helping them to graduate out of the recipient bracket. 

Fountain Community Enrichment also facilitates the annual Fountain Community Health Fair where individuals and families can access free preventive health screenings for diabetes, high cholesterol, Cancer and HIV. 

Community Giveaways are organized yearly to help lessen the burden of financial hardship on struggling families.

During the fair, individuals and families are also connected to community health partners and support services that can further assist them as health issues are discovered.

Education through preventive health-related workshops is also provided during the fair, thus educating our community members, and increasing health awareness. 

Pastor John Odukoya, the head Pastor of the Fountain of Life Grace Springs Church is the President of Fountain Community Enrichment INC and has allowed the ministry to influence the surrounding community through outreach events, by creating an environment that enables all to come as they are.
