Two faith-based organisations, CURE International and Biblica, are working together to provide 90,000 Bibles to hospitalised children in Africa and the Philippines. The initiative is designed to offer encouragement and spiritual support to young patients undergoing treatment.

CURE International, which provides medical care for children with disabilities, has partnered with Biblica to distribute Scripture in local languages to families at CURE’s eight hospitals. The project, valued at £400,000, aims to make the Bible accessible to children during their recovery.

Earnest Kioko, Chief Ministry Officer at CURE International, expressed gratitude for the initiative, saying, “We believe the Bible is a gift that brings hope, and we want to share that with our patients.” CURE International has performed over 330,000 surgeries since its founding in 1996, helping children with conditions such as spina bifida and hydrocephalus.

Biblica’s President, Geof Morin, emphasised the importance of providing spiritual resources, stating, “This partnership is about compassion and encouragement. These children deserve to experience comfort and hope.”
