This is Joel Smallbone’s directorial debut and it is a strong debut, he has directed as well as a seasoned director, you can feel the passion that has gone into creating this film about his family’s life story. Not only does Joel direct he also portrays his father in the movie and it is an extraordinary performance, this is by far the performance of his film career.

It is not just Joel’s performance that is strong, the acting across the entire movie is exceptional, you can feel the raw emotions, the struggles, the ups and downs, and you really feel a part of the story.
