This film highlights that God will forgive anyone who comes to Christ, no matter who they are or what they have done and can use anyone to help spread His word.From the Erwin Brothers comes Jesus Revolution, an outstanding and inspirational film depicting the start of the Jesus Revolution revival in the 1970s.Based on a true story this film follows a young Greg Laurie who is searching for all the right things in all the wrong places: until he meets Lonnie Frisbee, a charismatic hippie-street-preacher.Together with Pastor Chuck Smith, they opened the doors of Smith’s languishing church to an unexpected revival of radical and newfound love, leading to what TIME Magazine dubbed a Jesus Revolution.The film is well produced and directed, with stunning locations and sets, from costumes through to cars all depicting the 1970s, with the colouring and cinematography adding to the feel.The story and the acting bring this historical event to life with Kelsey Grammer, Joel Courtney, Jonathan Roumie and Anna Grace Barlow fantastically portraying and bringing to life Chuck Smith, Greg Laurie, Lonnie Frisbee and Cathe Laurie with a believable performance.There are some wonderful scenes throughout the film that show the transforming and redemptive grace of God and how that impacts a generation of people from all walks of life.
