Conservative activist and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk shared a poignant message on social media just minutes before his tragic death at Utah Valley University.

Charlie Kirk’s final post addressed the senseless murder of Iryna Zarutska, a 23-year-old woman who fled war-torn Ukraine only to be stabbed and killed on a train in North Carolina. In his post, Kirk emphasized the need to “politicize” Zarutska’s murder and the role of politics in allowing her attacker, a repeat offender, to remain free.

Kirk’s words, “If we want things to change, it’s 100% necessary to politicize the senseless murder.” 

In a separate incident, Kirk’s wife, Erika, shared a scripture on social media hours before his death. She posted Psalm 46:1, which reads, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”
