CAC Eternal Praise Assembly Marks 7th Anniversary Celebration
By Church News
Christ Apostolic Church, Eternal Praise Assembly in Lagos celebrated a significant milestone this Sunday, marking its 7th anniversary with praise, prayer, and an insightful sermon themed “A New Address,” inspired by Colossians 1:12-14.
The festivities commenced with an inspiring 21-day prayer, setting the stage for a jubilant and spiritually enriching service.
The church choir led the congregation in an uplifting session of praise and worship. The atmosphere was electric as believers danced, sang, and gave thanks to God for His faithfulness over the past seven years. The choir’s powerful renditions of hymns and gospel songs created a spirit of celebration and thanksgiving that resonated throughout the entire service.
The minister-in-charge, Pastor E. Olu Olorunpomi, delivered a sermon emphasizing the spiritual significance of having the right address. Drawing from Colossians 1:12-14, he explained that a person’s life, like any physical address, requires direction and a landmark to locate it.
“There’s no place on earth without a direction to locate it,” Pastor Olorunpomi said during his sermon. “Similarly, there’s no address without a landmark. Your life must be anchored in the right address, Jesus Christ.”
Pastor Olorunpomi outlined three types of addresses every believer must understand: the ‘Residential Address,’ which refers to a person’s current physical and spiritual state. “It is not just where you live, but it also speaks to the state of your finances, business, and career,” he explained.
The clergyman encouraged the congregation to use faith as a transition from where they are to where they need to be. He urged them to trust in God’s guidance to move from one stage of life to the next, whether in personal growth or financial breakthrough.
