She was born in the year 1988, March 9th to be precise. She hails from Edo State in Nigeria, and she is from the Isan tribe.Benita Okojie sang the popular song ‘Osemudiame’ in 1998, and she rose into fame in the year 2006.After releasing the sing, it went viral in the African Gospel Music Scene. During the FIFA under-21 world cup in 1999, Benita Okojie graced the occasion which took place in Nigeria.Ever Since Benita Okojie was young, she loved singing together with her siblings, she used to sing Edo and Yoruba Music Mixes. Benita’s father worked with Musicians of those days like Sonny Okosun, Chris Okotie and this by default helped her Music to be marketed.In the year 2000, Benita Okojie had a performance during Nigeria’s 40th Independence Anniversary Celebration. Her song Unity Games became the theme song during the eighth AII African games. Apart from singing, Benita Okojie is also an actress.
