Beauty Obodo Announces Release of New Project

Contemporary Nigerian gospel singer and songwriter, Beauty Obodo is set to kick-start the new year on a high note as she announces the release of her new project, “Joy Comes in the Morning” which will be unveiled with an album launch/concert in Lagos on Jan 21, 2023.
The album launch which also doubles as her special birthday (Jan 20) celebration concert is scheduled to hold at the RCCG Dominion Sanctuary.
The event will feature a special guest appearance from Pst. Kunle Ajayi and Music ministrations from Lilian Nneji, Funke Owolabi and Michael Akingbala.
“Joy Comes in the Morning” will mark Beauty Obodo’s first new album in 5 years following her sophomore LP “My Hallelujah Praise” which dropped in 2018.
The forthcoming album boasts previously released singles including the well-received “Gracious God” feat. Moses Swaray, as well as brand new songs from the Nigerian music minister.
Fueling anticipation for “Joy Comes in the Morning,” Beauty Obodo has unwrapped the beautiful cover for the album.
Beauty Obodo is an Educationist by profession, an astute songwriter and a worship leader. She is one of the lead singers in the National Mass Choir of The Redeemed Christian Church of God.
Over the years, Beauty has lead intense worship and praise both in her local church community and in several other altars of other denominations. Her love for worship has made her a regular feature in the monthly Holy Ghost services, Annual Conventions and Holy Ghost Congresses of The Redeemed Christian Church of God.
