By Marie

Thousands of families in Atlanta are ending the year with relief after Spirit and Truth Church announced it has paid off $1.5 million in medical debt, benefiting more than 1,100 people.

The announcement was made during a church service on December 22, with leaders describing the gesture as an act of compassion aimed at easing financial burdens.

Senior Pastor Mark Moore Jr. shared the news in a Facebook post, writing: “In the middle of rising insurance costs and healthcare changes, we didn’t ask what the church should do — we answered it. Letters are being sent. Burdens are being lifted. Hope is being restored.”
