The well-known and gifted Italian Tenor Andrea Bocelli is releasing The Journey: A Music Special with other powerhouse Christian vocalists.

Joining Bocelli in the film are artists such as Michael W. Smith, Tauren Wells, Tori Kelly, and TAYA from Hillsong UNITED.

The film will be in exclusive theatres from April 2-6, 2023.

Combining world-class musical performances with intimate conversations across the awe-inspiring Italian countryside, this musical special is an exploration of the moments that define us, the songs that inspire us, and the relationships that connect us to what matters most.

Gearing up for the release, TAYA sang ‘Oceans’ recently in Time Square in New York City. Smith joined the launch and sang on stage as well before Bocelli himself got up to sing ‘Amazing Grace.’

“I’ve sung this song more times than I could count but getting to sing ‘Oceans,’ in the middle of Times Square to open up the premiere of ‘The Journey,’ a movie that has changed my life getting to be apart of (literally) was truly all an honour,” said TAYA on Facebook.

“So grateful for the opportunity to spend time with my friend Andrea Bocelli last night in Times Square, celebrating the premiere of THE JOURNEY,” said Smith. “I hope you take the chance to experience this film for yourself. It’s pretty amazing.”

According to the movie’s release, “Bocelli and his wife Veronica travel on horseback along Italy’s Via Francigena, an ancient road travelled by pilgrims for centuries in the footsteps of the apostles and saints.”

The whole film starts with an introduction and welcome from the Pope. Bocelli’s children and wife also make an appearance in the film.
