Ada Ehi Selected As Honoree Of The African Achievers Awards

Nigerian gospel singer, Ada Ogochukwu Ehi, also known as Ada Ehi has been selected as an honoree for the 12th edition of the African Achievers Awards.She has been chosen as one of the top African achievers to attend the 2022 African Achievers Awards and International Summit/Honors, which will be held in the House of Parliament in Westminster, London, United Kingdom, on September 20, 2022.For the 12th edition of the awards, African Achievers Awards has teamed up with leading global reputation management company Reputation Poll International (United Kingdom).Some of the other nominees include H.E. Ameenah Gurib-Fakim (Former President of the Republic of Mauritius), Carolyn Steyn (a philanthropist and founder of 67 Blankets for Nelson Mandela Day), CalledOut Music (a Gospel singer), Nwankwo Kanu OON (Founder, Kanu Heart Foundation), H.E Adama Barrow (President of the Republic of the Gambia), Hon. Mamensie Kabba (Assistant Minister for the Administration Republic of Liberia) among many other prominent people.Ada Ehi has had the honour of performing at prestigious events like ‘The Experience Lagos’ (the largest Gospel festival in the world) where she shared the stage with artists like Hillsong, Kirk Franklin, Travis Greene, Sinach, and many other international Christian musicians.Ada Ehi is also a songwriter, recording and performing artist. She started her musical career at the age of 10 as a backup singer for child star Tosin Jegede.Professionally, she started her music career under Loveworld Records in 2009, she has increasingly gained local and international popularity through her songs and music videos.Since joining the Christ Embassy Choir, Ehi has been actively involved in the Music Ministry of Christ Embassy and has performed at Christ Embassy events in several programs around the world including in Europe, America and several African countries.Her debut album Undenied was released in November 2009.
